Power Rankings

1. Black Monkeys – (Last Week: 1) The Monkeys will hold the top spot in the Power Rankings with another successful week. Black had a 4-0-2 record in Week 2 and currently still are without a regulation loss. Matt Ganci led the way with 10 points, and newcomer Derek Tabaczynski tagged along with 8 assists. With Pijacki having another strong week in net and Costas Skagias scoring, the Black Monkeys may be in the top spot to stay.

2. Red Rogue Agents – (Last Week: 3) The Rogue Agents climb their way up to the second spot this week behind the play of Jeff Stack. He was the number one star this week with the league’s first shutout. The team went 4-2 this week and has sole possession of second place. Nick Torgalski and CJ Massett are leading the way with huge plus/minus numbers. This team could continue to climb in the standings all year.

3. Blue Swamp Donkeys – (Last Week: 2) The Swamp Donkeys slipped a spot this week, falling to number three in the Power Rankings. The team went 3-3, but did lose a game to the struggling Whalers. They still have a firm hold on the final playoff spot and having second place in their sights. Shane and Eric Mueller led the charge, putting up 9 and 11 points, respectively. With Dan Morgan playing well, the Swamp Donkeys could make a run at second place this upcoming week.

4. White Whalers – (Last Week: 4) The White Whalers had another disappointing week. Scoring a league low 13 goals and giving up a league high in goals against with 27, the Whalers had no answer for other teams. They are currently a -24 in goal differential and are already 8 points out of a playoff spot. After acquiring Matt Bradley, the team still had a disappointing 1-5 week. The Whalers need to turn things around; and in a hurry.
