The BHL (formerly the SHL) started in the summer of 2014 as a three-team, eight-week Saturday morning league. The inaugural season was a large success. Last year, the third place Sloops defeated the second place Rats in the first round, after a full five-game series (3-2). Scott Parker (Owner/GM of the Goon Squad) led his team to the first title in league history over the Sloops in five games (4-1).
