“Way-To-Early” Season Preview

Players to Watch:

Scott Parker: Scott has been an enigma this offseason. First, he turned down the role of owning a team. Second, he considered taking his talents overseas. Now, it appears he will only be a part-time sub player. We’ll see what this year brings for Scott, who is coming off a championship.

Jeff Stack: Jeff has expressed plenty of interest in being an everyday player. In a winter exhibition, Stack put on an offensive display by netting several goals and assisting on others. If Stack shows up, look for him to have a big year.

Matt Bradley: Matt is a newcomer to the league and isn’t too confident in his skills. He played goalie at UB, but doesn’t plan on playing in net for the BHL season. His player skills may be lacking, but if he hops in the pipes come playoff time, look for Bradley to make a cup run with his team.

Mike Musialowski: Another goalie in the UB system, Musey comes into the league looking to make an immediate impact. Musey has should have a strong skill set and was an elite BSA (Backyard Soccer Association) player. Just like Bradley, goaltending could be in Musey’s future if the team needs it.

Draft Stock Up: Rickie Fabiszewski: We saw Rick at a recent exhibition where he had a great game. He scored several goals and looked to be a real offensive threat. He could be a problem for his owner with off-ice issues, but he has really re-invented himself and could be a steal in the draft. Steve Garbutt: Steve played only one week last season, but should have rather good attendance this year. Lots of rumors about Steve participating in a vigorous offseason program and he should be in great shape for the upcoming season. CJ Massett: CJ came in as a sub midway through the 2014 season and played very well. He hopes to put together a strong full season this year. CJ could be a very big threat, both offensively and defensively this season.
